Fish Out Of Water
Fish are such amazing creatures.
They live out their lives in an environment that we can only visit, never be part of. Take them out of that environment and they become soft machines lifeless and inert.
I wanted to create fish that could swim in the sky. Fish being part of a landscape, incongruous perhaps, but in their right element.

Limited Edition sculptures. This edition being 100 worldwide.
These sculptures are cold cast metals and finished with traditional patination techniques. They are suitable for indoor and outdoor display.
The fish and pebbles are cast and finished individually and come with a heavy steel base in which is secured a steel rod. The base, pebbles and fish have a hole drilled through and slot on to the steel base and rod. This makes the whole thing very heavy and extremely stable.
They have been tested in our garden over the summer and have proved to be grandchildren and cat proof. The natural finish and patination of the metal will also age in harmony if placed in a garden.
